U.K BASED NIGERIAN PHILANTROPIST, MRS ABIDEMI OLADIPO BAGS HONOURARY DOCTORATE DEGREE FROM PROWESS UNIVERSITY, USA

It was a day of honour for an Ikorodu born UK based Nigerian philanthropist, Mrs Abidemi Oladapo as she was honored with the honourary doctorate degree from Prowess University, Daleware, United States of America.

Mrs Oladipo was conferred alongside other deserving Nigerians, including the Member, representing Ikorodu Constituency 2 at the Lagos State House of Assembly.

She was decorated during the University’s Leadership Summit with the theme;
Building a Culture of Peace; The Role of Education in Co nflict Resolution and Nation-Building held at the University of Ibadan, Oyo State, South-West Nigeria.

The summit was organized in conjunction with the Ecolerite Institute of Peace Advancement / Institute of Arts, Management & Professional Studies.

According to the representatives of Prowess University, Mrs Oladapo was confered with the honourary doctorate degree in Business Administration in recognition of her professional acumen and contributions to societal development, particularly her philanthropy activities, through her NGO, ABIOLAD Foundation.

Mrs Abidemi Oladipo is from Ikorodu Lagos Nigeria. She was born over five decades ago. She is a social care practitioner and a Nigerian registered Nurse & Midwife. She qualified as an RGN in 1992 and RGM in 1995, respectively. She left Nigeria as Principal Nurse Superintendent in 2005 from Lagos state Teaching hospital Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria and moved to Europe with her husband.

She is A graduate of University of Technological University of the Shannon Athlone Republic of Ireland, where she studied (BA of arts in Applied social Studies in Social Care) She is also a certified councillor of Canadian Institute of Christian counsellors. An Ordained pastor In Redeemed Christian church of God.

Mrs Oladipo currently co-pastor with her Husband, Pharm. Niran Oladipo at RCCG Living Praise, Sunderland.

She is the Founder of a non- governmental charity organisation, Abiolad Foundation birthed in 2020 in Nigeria and UK that supports people living with disability and migrants. Through the NGO, she provides adequate help and support to address health, social and economic issues that impact daily lives of immigrants.

She currently works as an advocate in one of the leading advocacy companies in the UK.
