
As the forthcoming local government elections in the State gets closer, more political gladiators have continued to throw their hats into the ring.
For Ikorodu North LCDA, one of the latest entrants is Prince Adedoyin Ogunbiyi, popularly known as “Jokotex”.
Jokotex, a healthcare professional is the founder of PAJ Movement, otherwise known as Prince Adedoyin Jokotex Movement that has been involved in several political and humanitarian programmes across the Ikorodu North LCDA.

To demonstrate his readiness for a complete turnaround in the administration of the Council area, Jokotex has unveiled a well curated Chairmanship agenda he tagged; CHEERS Agenda.
The development agenda cuts across key sectors covers all sectors requiring interventions in the area, namely Community Support Services, Healthcare, Education, Environmental Management, Rural Development and Security. Details of the CHEERS Agenda is analyzed below;
C: Community Support services which focus on Security, human capital development, women empowerment, public healthcare among others.

H: HEALTHCARE
This seeks to use public health services as a catalyst for social and economic stability of the Council. This bothers the renovations of all existing Primary Health Center (PHC) and upgrading one of the centers to mini secondary health care institutions.
E: EDUCATION – This is aimed at providing lasting solutions to the learning environment by taking a holistic approach. Plus the provision of learning materials, furniture, portable water and others to some schools.
E: ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT. Maintenance of a serene environment through the introduction of local desilting of drainages and periodic clearing of drainage so as to prevent flood disaster.

R: RURAL DEVELOPMENTAL SCHEME AND REVENUE DRIVE
Ikorodu North LCDA, being host to the largest CDA’s and CDCs, they shall be fully involved in the Council administration. Same for traditional leaders, market men and women, religious leaders and political
leaders in the planning of a better ikorodu North LCDA.
SECURITY Security, being the primary role of any responsible government will be the major pillar of our administration. Local Vigilante groups will be supported to compliment the regular government security agencies while adequate support will be given to the Police, NSCDC and others to enable them perform their functions effectively.
