Good times are surely here for Ikorodu Federal Constituency as the Division is set to witness unprecedented development projects in the 2026 budget.
This cheering news was broken on Thursday by the Member, representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency at the House of Reps, Babajimi Benson, MHR.
Benson broke the news to the excitement of party leaders during a meeting he held with party leaders at his Constituency office on Thursday.
The Chairman House Committee on Defense listed some of the projects to include an overhead bridge at Majidun, which, according to him, is already in the 2026 budget.
Benson also announced that Ikorodu Federal Constituency will also be getting a Federal Medical Centre and Command Day Secondary School among other projects, courtesy of the federal government, under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
Benson, therefore, charged the party leaders to continue to hold faith with the party and ensure that they continue to make the party proud by driving party membership registration and sustain election victory for the party in future elections.
He said, ‘Mr. President had approved the construction of an overhead bridge at Majidun. This is already in the 2026 budget’.
‘Similarly, we will build Command Secondary School at Odongunyan in Ikorodu North LCDA, while Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA will be getting a Federal Medical Centre at the same time’, Benson stated.
He equally announced that, Ipakodo community in Ikorodu West LCDA will be getting a stadium very soon.
The meeting ended on an exciting mood as party leaders pledged their commitment towards improving the lot of the ruling APC in the Division through massive membership registration drive and future electoral victory.
