
The Executive Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, Hon. Wasiu Ayodeji Adesina today led a delegation of the Management of the Council to pay condolence visit to the families of the three (3) deceased victims and eight survivors of yesterday’s collapsed two storey building, under construction at Ota-ona, Ikorodu.
The Council boss, in his brief address appealed to the families of the deceased to take the sad incident as an act of God, while describing the incident as unfortunate.

Speaking further, Adeshina appealed to residents of the area to remain calm, and assured them that appropriate measures were currently being taken by the government to salvage the situation.
Meanwhile, the Council Chairman has implored occupants of the neighboring buildings to please vacate the building, noting that the the building was clearly weak.

Some of those that joined Hon. Adesina on the condolence visit was the Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Lateef Afinnih and some top Management Staffs, led by the Council Manager, Mr Johnson- Agiri Adekunle.
