Shortly after submitting his nomination form to contest the Chairmanship of Ikorodu Oga Development Association IKODASS, a former Deputy Chairman of the socio-cultural association and leading contender for the Number office, Alh. Fatai Kolawole Olayiwola Ogunfodunrin has unveiled his 5-Point Agenda aimed at repositioning the foremost community-based body.
In an exclusive chat with Ikorodu Oga Radio, Kolawole, who is popularly called ‘De Groom’ among his teeming fans and lovers stated that the plan was a carefully curated document meant to serve as the road-map for his administration, if elected in the forthcoming IKODASS election.
The Managing Director of De-Groom Automobile Limited also revealed that the document would serve as a testament to the positive energy and result-oriented spirit he is approaching the position with, noting that the body can achieve so much for the Ikorodu community, with the right leadership.
Giving an insight into the Agenda, Kolawole gave the details of the acronym ARISE as follows;
A – Accountability
R – Repositioning & Re-Branding
I – Innovative Programmes and Projects
S – Socio-cultural Reinasaance & Sponsorship
E – Education and Economic Empowerment
He further commended the founding fathers of IKODASS and all past Chairmen of the association for bequeathing a vibrant association that has now become a pride of all Ikorodu sons and daughters at home and in Diaspora to the community.
