IKORODU GRA PHASE II SET TO WITNESS “NEW DAWN” AS NEW CDA EXECUTIVES TAKE CHARGE, PLEDGE TO MAKE GRA 2 A MODEL COMMUNITY

The Ikorodu GRA Phase 2 is set to witness unprecedented progress and development as a new executive takes charge of the affairs of the community.

The new executives branded the “New Dawn Team”, led by Mr. Lateef Abass as Chairman have pledged their commitment to serving the best interest of the generality of residents of the community in the next two years of their service to the community.

‘As we embark on this new chapter in the history of our community, I want to assure you all that my team are fully committed to serving the best interest of our community as well as her residents’.

‘We are not oblivious of the huge expectations of residents for the current Exco to turn the tide and work for the unity, peace and overall development of our community, we are therefore both deeply humbled and sincerely challenged by this enormous responsibility that is ahead of us’, he added.

Abass equally promised that his executive will work hard and make Ikorodu GRA 2 a model community in Ikorodu Division and Lagos State at large.

‘Distinguished residents, elders and all community stakeholders here present, let me once again reiterate the commitment of this NEW DAWN Executive towards making GRA 2 a model for all CDAs in Ikorodu Division and beyond. This is a solemn promise we pledge to uphold’.

The new executive is also made up of a veteran multimedia professional and community media practitioner, Omo’ba ‘Peju Akinyemi, who is the new Public Relations Officer.

The Inauguration of the new CDA executives was witnessed by the Leader, Ikorodu West LCDA Legislative Council and Councillor, representing Ward A, Ipakodo, Hon. Jessica Enitan-Oba and Baale of Palapo Community, Chief

The new CDA executive is made up of the Chairman, Mr. Lateef Abass, Vice Chairman, Atapa Olalekan, Benjamin Nwudu, General Secretary, and Hussein Saheed Omotayo, Asst. General Secretary.

Other members of the new CDA executive are, Mr. Idris Omotayo, Treasurer, Mr. Hakeem Bello, Financial Secretary, Omo’ba ‘Peju Akinyemi, PRO, Mr. Femi Kazeem Adelowo, Welfare Officer and Mr. Akpovi Oghale, Welfare Officer.
