As part of his continued gesture of gratitude to political stakeholders and community leaders who supported his administration, former Executive Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, Hon. Wasiu Adeshina, paid a courtesy visit to Alhaji Waheed Animashaun, the APC Party Chairman, Ikorodu Central, to present a gift and express appreciation for his support during his tenure in office.
The visit was one in a series of ‘Thank You’ visits by Adeshina aimed at acknowledging the contributions of key figures who stood by him during his tenure.
He was accompanied by notable leaders including Hon. Banwo Azeez, Hon. Shafari Murisiku (Ward C) and Alhaja Rasheedat Bello, the Ikorodu Divisional Woman Leader.
In his remarks, Alhaji Waheed Animashaun expressed appreciation for the gesture, commending Adeshina’s humility and continued loyalty to the party. He noted that the former chairman had given immense support to the local government during his administration and encouraged him to remain actively involved in party activities, emphasizing the importance of unity and consistency within the APC fold.
Responding, Adeshina pledged his continued loyalty to the party, while expressing his readiness tl resume full party activities in the coming weeks.
The visit further reinforces Adeshina’s commitment to sustaining relationships built during his time in office and to promoting solidarity among Ikorodu’s political leadership ahead of future political engagements.
