In pursuit of one of her S-H-E-E-R Development Agenda for the entire Ikorodu Division communities, the Ikorodu Division Peace Initiative IDPIL has donated a brand new 14-Seater Hiace Bus to Imota Generaal Hospital to enhance quality healthcare delivery to residents of the community.
The bus was delivered to to the Palace of the Ranodu of Imota, Oba Ajibade Bakare Agoro yesterday by a delegation of Ikorodu Division Peace Initiative IDPIL, led by its Board of Trustees Chairman, High Chief Adewunmi Ogunsanya, SAN who was joined by the Executive Secretary, Otunba Ganiyu Olusegun Abiru and Chairman, IDPIL Sub-Committee on Information and former Commissioner for Information in Lagos State, Otunba Ayodele Elesho.
Other IDPIL Members on the delegation were the Sub-Committee on Security, Rtd. Col. Dr Titilola Onafowokan, IDPIL Secretary, Mr Salami Awolaru T.H and Barr. Adetoun Adekoya among others.
In his welcome address at the presentation, the Ranodu of Imota, Oba Ajibade Bakare Agoro (Olufoworesete1) commended Odofin Adewunmi Ogunsanya, SAN for his unalloyed commitment to the overall development of Ikorodu Division.
The revered first-class monarch noted that, while it is understandable for Royal Fathers, Politicians and public office holders to embark on development projects for obvious reasons, it remained a mystery for him to see a man like Ogunsanya who is investing heavily in the development of communities he does not have any obligations to.
An elated Oba Agoro sand, danced and prayed profusely for Ogunsanya and his IDPIL team for their support for the Imota community and Ikorodu Division in general.
Resounding, Odofin Ogunsanya, SAN thanked the royal father for his prayers and support, while promising more support for the community.
Earlier, the Executive Secretary of IDPIL, Otunba Ganiyu Olusegun Abiru noted that the bus donation to the Imota General Hospital was partly in fulfillment of the body’s SHEER Development Agenda.
He also listed the on-going construction of a renal centre at the Ikorodu General Hospital as one of IDPIL’s numerous health initiatives.
In her brief remarks, the Chief Medical Director of Imota General Hospital, Adenike Amosun who could not hide her joy expressed deep appreciation to Odofin Ogunsanya and IDPIL for the kind gesture.
She revealed that the bus would assist the health facility in the delivery of quality healthcare services to residents.
The presentation was also witnessed by the Publisher of Oriwu Sun Newspaper, Alh. Monzor Olowosago, Olumale Eluku of Ikorodu, Chief …. and Prince Jokotade Ogunbiyi, Baale of Idafa and Olotu-General of Anoko-Ogbonyari Royal Family of Ikorodu.
