All roads led to the country home of a former Commissioner for Information in Lagos State, Otunba Ayodele Elesho on Wednesday as the community leader formally welcomes the latest addition to his family lineage.
It was celebration galore as family, friends and well-wishers gathered in the Ibeshe family home of the Agba Akin of Ikorodu Kingdom to share in the joy of the Elesho family.
The new addition was christened by the Bishop of Patriarch Bolaji Memorial Methodist Church, Ikorodu after a brief Christening Service.
She was named Ayotunde, Ayotomiwa, Oluwasheyi, Oluwatoyin Elesho, daughter of Surveyor Ayoola Olajide and Mrs Tolulope Esther Elesho.
The classy christening ceremony was graced by immediate and extended family members of the Elesho dynasty as well as their family and friends within Ikorodu and beyond.
Prominent Ikorodu leaders and dignitaries like the two-time Chairman of Ikorodu Oga Development Association (IKODASS), Otunba Ganiyu Olusegun Abiru and the incumbent, Alh. Kolawole Fatai and veteran Multimedia Journalist and Advertising Consultant, Om’oba ‘Peju Akinyemi also graced the event, to show solidarity and honour to the former labour leader.
The Iyaloja of Sabo Market, Alh. Mutiat Ojulari and many other well-wishers also joined in the celebration.
