In continuation of strategic consultation with key community stakeholders in Ikorodu community, the Chairman of Ikorodu Oga Development Association (IKODASS), Alh. Kolawole Fatai has led some executive members of IKODASS on a courtesy visit to the Iyaloja-General of Ikorodu Division, Dcns. Busola Isikalu.
At the courtesy visit which took place at the temporary Secretariat of the Association of Market Men, Women and Commodity Association (ACWA) at the Ikorodu Shopping Complex at Ita-elewa was also graced by some market leaders from various parts of the Division.
In his brief remarks, the IKODASS Chairman thanked the market men and women for their past unalloyed support for IKODASS.
He, however, used the opportunity to seek for the continued support of the Association for IKODASS, and particularly for his administration.
Alh. Kolawole specifically charged the market association to brace up for the forthcoming 2025 Ikorodu Oga Day Celebration and raise the stake of their participation.
He equally appealed to them to see IKODASS and the market men and women association as partners-in-progress in the efforts towards developing Ikorodu community.
In her response, Iyaloja Isikalu thanked the IKODASS Chairman for finding time to pay her and her members a courtesy visit.
On partnership and support for IKODASS and her activities, the Iyaloja-General, Isikalu assured the IKODASS Chairman of the association’s continued support for Ikorodu Oga Day and other IKODASS activities.
She also promised that her team will work closely with IKODASS and the current executive to make the 2025 edition of Ikorodu Oga Day Celebration a memorable one.
